Who We Are

We are the

ERC Professional Group

The ERC Professional Group is powered by a client centric mindset and supported by IRS Tax Credit Attorneys, CPAs, and experienced ERC Program Specialists, trained by the experienced leadership attorneys of the Tax Workout Group, our affiliated Tax Law Firm.

Unlike most of the ERC firms popping up everywhere, we are associated with a tax law firm who will be here tomorrow if the IRS comes knocking at the door and questions your entitlement to the credit claimed.

ERC Professional Group was formed by the Tax Workout Group Law Firm as a specialty tax credit company exclusively focused on maximizing the CARES Act Employee Retention Credit (ERC) for small and medium size businesses impacted by COVID-19 with offices throughout Florida.

Why use us?

We are experts at carefully applying the “Business Suspension Rules

Even if your business did not experience a significant decline in gross receipts during 2020 or 2021 (i.e., the Revenue Test), let our experts establish qualification of your business by carefully navigating the “Suspension of Business” test:

Full or Partial Shutdowns
Decrease in Hours of Operations
Interruption in Operations
or Supply Chains
Reduction in Services or Goods
Shifting Hours to Increase
Sanitation of Your Facility
Inability to Work with
Your Vendors
This “business suspension” test is comprised of certain conditions which include:
  • Analyzing the applicable government order(s) limiting commerce, travel, or group meetings, and
  • Then, determining whether and to what extent the governmental order had more than a nominal impact on your business operations (applying safe-harbor tests).

See: What is ERC page of our website for more information regarding the available safe harbors for demonstrating “Nominal Impact.”
